Hello everyone, I am new to this forum!

I have been dabbling in making bath salts and body oils with EO's for four years or so. This Christmas I wanted to make my family scented oils again but realized that I haven't used some of my oils for two years or more. I can't even remember when I bought them! I don't want to throw them out unless I need to because that would be a huge waste of money, so I am wondering if anyone can give me some tips on how to tell if my EO's might be rancid. The scents I am worried about are grapefruit, sweet orange, and tangerine, which I know to have a shorter shelf-life than other EO's. Would a change in scent be obvious in these EO's, or subtle? Does viscosity change with age? Any suggestions would be nice.

Thank you!
